The 2019 GMC Acadia hasn’t just been refreshed; it has been completely redesigned. It now offers more compact dimensions and better efficiency, but GMC’s engineers made sure that they didn’t take away the features and characteristics that have made the GMC Acadia so popular with families in Toronto. Yes, it is now a lot easier to drive the GMC Acadia in the city, but there is still plenty of interior space for everyone and their luggage.

Two Engines Available in the 2019 GMC Acadia

The 2019 GMC Acadia is powered out of the gate by a 2.5-litre, four-cylinder engine that delivers 193 horsepower and 188 pound feet of torque. This engine really shines in regards to fuel economy with an average of less than 10.0 litres per 100 kilometres on the highway. Opt for the optional 3.6-litre V6 engine, and you will get 310 horsepower and 271 pound feet of torque, more than what most other midsize SUVs can offer you.

Plenty of Tech Features and Space in the All-New 2019 GMC Acadia

Having been completely redesigned last year, the 2019 GMC Acadia is packed with state-of-the-art technologies starting with a built-in 4G LTE Wi-Fi system that allows you to browse the web from anywhere. There are also a wide range of safety features such as lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, automatic braking, and more.
In terms of interior space, there are a total of 362 litres offered to owners when all seats are in place, but if you lower the third row you get 1,180 litres of cargo space. Lower both rear rows and you get an incredible 2,237 litres of cargo space. Not bad given that the current generation of the Acadia is smaller than the previous one, and therefore nimbler and easier to park.
